Life is a journey. Sometimes, it’s a long-haul flight to a distant country; other times, it’s just a short trip to the nearby department store. But looking back, even that simple walk to the mall becomes an unforgettable chapter. Every journey is defined not just by the destination, but by the people who walked beside us.
Before Chewing Brother and Chewing Sister became the explorers you know today, we were just two kids constantly at war. Our childhood was a montage of innocent pranks, fighting over the TV remote, and noisy bickering. But midst the chaos of growing up, we found our common ground. We transitioned from rivals to the best of teammates—partners in crime who would stay up all night, eyes glued to the screen.
Do you remember those nights? The ones where we gathered with a group of childhood friends, fueled by snacks and adrenaline? We huddled together to watch the World Cup, screaming in whispers so we wouldn’t wake our parents. We witnessed the golden era of basketball: the god-like dominance of the Chicago Bulls, and later, the unstoppable duo of Kobe and Shaq on the Lakers. We bonded over comic books, devoured manga, and mashed buttons on game controllers until our thumbs were sore.
But time, as it always does, moved forward.
We grew up. The friends who once sat on the floor with us to watch the game drifted away. Where are they now? The teammates we played baseball and soccer with in the park—do they still remember us? Sometimes, life surprises you. A random message on a birthday, a sudden “How are you?” from an old number—these are the unexpected gifts of adulthood. They remind us that while paths diverge, the connection remains.
Recently, I found myself scrolling through old videos online. It hit me like a pause button pressed on a moving train. The idols we worshipped, the athletes who seemed immortal in their prime, now have gray hair. The realization was sharp and sudden: We are no longer young.
There are so many “what ifs.” We think, “I should have done that when I was younger,” or “I wish we had appreciated that moment more.” Reality is harsh; once a season passes, it cannot be replayed.
However, this is exactly why we dive into the world of Anime and content creation. Through the lens of animation and storytelling, we make up for the regrets of the past. We relive “those years.”
- Those years we chased the girl we liked.
- Those years we screamed for a winning goal.
- That winter we froze together in Hokkaido but felt so warm.
- Those years we counted down to the New Year under the fireworks.
- That Valentine’s Day we spent navigating the awkwardness and joy of young love.
These memories are carved deep into our hearts. They are the fuel that keeps us going.
Today, Chewing Brother picks up the magnifying glass not just to find food, but to find the warmth behind these stories. We explore to help the people around us feel happier, to remind them that while we cannot turn back the clock, we can cherish the present.
Every period of growth is precious. Let’s not live in regret. Let’s take these memories—the pranks, the sports, the laughter—and use them to make today beautiful. Because in the end, the journey continues, and we are still looking for the next great story to share with you.
